Our latest exhibit, “Northwest Landscapes” has many of it’s viewers taking a walk down memory lane, to favorite mountain hikes, strolls on the beach or long drives through the countryside. If you live or have visited the Pacific Northwest, you surely have a favorite haunt that no matter how many times you have gone back, you are still mesmerized by it’s beauty.

This awe of the region is the inspiration behind the oils of Cal Capener’s Nisqually Refuge & Mt. Shuksan oils, and Julie Creighton‘s love of the out-of-doors from misty coastal scenes to crisp mountain vistas. Beverly Fotheringham‘s ode to Olympia with the Capital Campus and Budd Inlet in watercolors and Paul Lewing‘s lush forests and majestic mountain meadows in oil give us the full spectrum of Mother Nature’s palate. Photo collages by Doyle Fanning exhibit how the colors glowing from Mount Rainier can change in a matter of minutes. Radiant fused bowls, dogwood blooms & a silhouette of a blue heron etched into glass from Bob Heath are the perfect accent for these lovely landscapes that will be on exhibit through September 29th.

Arts Walk is just around the corner, and we are looking forward to hosting “An Open Moment,” a solo exhibit from Marilyn Frasca. Arts Walk is October 4th & 5th, but we will have the show up for view through November 17th. Check back for more information or contact us to be placed on our emailing list.
