Recycled glass party trays by Donna Mayo $33

Donna Mayo, one of our talented glass artists, has found the perfect way to repurpose old glass louvers and shelving and turn them into attractive and functional trays, shimmering ornaments and sun catchers.

Using a time consuming process, Donna first creates a mold with impressions of leaves, sea life, birds or other images and then “slumps” or melts in the recycled glass. The results vary slightly each time they are cast, making each piece unique. We just received an order of these sweet 4″ x 9″ party trays – just the right size for appetizers, candy or fruit. With details of leaves, bamboo, and sea creatures, they are pretty enough to leave out as an art piece when not in use. Donna’s hanging ornaments feature everything from hummingbirds, and butterflies, to octopi, sea shells and whale tales for the Pacific Northwest home. They make great gifts and we have even wrapped up the trays for customers and added an ornament to the box for a special touch.
