“Crows & Ravens” exhibit features new work from 11 Northwest artists.
We are in the final days of one of our most talked about exhibits in recent years. “An Open Moment“ – drawings by Marilyn Frasca, will end on Sunday, November 17th. This exhibit has been very well received with good reason. Frasca’s unconventional way of processing images in her work by leaving herself “open” for the monotype to reveal an image for her to complete, is very different than the approach to art than that of most artists. The result is a collection of fantastic imagery, color, texture and emotion.
We will be ringing in the Holiday Season with the highly anticipated “Crows & Ravens” exhibit. Artists will include Tom Anderson, Dave & Boni Deal, Kristen Etmund, Doyle Fanning, Sara Gettys, Jonathan Happ, Beki Killorin, Christopher Mathie, Chris Maynard, Graham Schadda, & Judith Smith. Carved & painted board, raku ceramics, blockprints, oils, cut feathers, photo collage, mixed media and etched metal will be used in the body of work for this exhibit, which opens November 31st and runs through the end of the year.
