International Women’s Day is March 8th. What better way to finish off the week than by joining us for an artists’ reception highlighting the work of four women artists with the opening of our new exhibit on Friday, March 10th from 5-7 pm.

Meet Sherry, Mimi & Yoshiko, three of our artists, who’s work is truly uplifting, and a ode to Spring. Sherry Buckner will be showing pastels and serigraphs, Aki Sogabe will have papercuts here for the first time, and Mimi Williams and Yoshiko Yamamoto will be exhibiting block prints. We will be serving refreshments along with live music performed by Olympia jazz vocalist, Elliot Weeks.

We suggest making an evening out of art & music. Start here at Childhood’s End, then take in the show at the WCPA featuring Nathan Breedlove, part of their Black Box Cabaret Jazz Series.
