Grab the rolling pin, don your apron and preheat the oven – it’s time for Piefest!
The Pie Baker’s Guild has come up with an ingenious way to combine fun and community support, just by doing what most of us love to do – savor delicious, home made baked treats! This Saturday, February 24th at the Olympia Center, you can buy a slice of pie for $3 or trade for 3 cans of food, and your support goes directly to the Senior Nutrition Program and the Thurston County Food Bank. Feeling competitive? Enter a pie for $5 and see if that family recipe is the winner. Prizes are to be won and good times are to be had, while enriching Olympia.
