We have a nice selection of American made holiday ornaments, with many crafted right here in Washington! Adorable hand felted mice, gnomes, mushrooms and forest critters from Olympia’s Kristen Etmund, have been very popular. Kristen has also brought in several Northwest birds, perfectly detailed in felt. There is a rainbow of colors on the hand blown glass ornaments by Seattle’s Glass Eye Studio – always a gallery staple, and with each one containing ash from Mt. St. Helens, they are distinctly Washington. Familiar Northwest flora and fauna are the inspiration of Donna Mayo, who uses recycled glass to create shimmery little panes that can be kept up year round as sun catchers. Lovely Moravian star ornaments & toppers from Starry Treasures that catch and reflect light with their 12 points, have a history dating back to the mid -1800s. The slender, iridescent twists on the “icicle” ornaments from Kyle Krater are classic and elegant. Any one of these great tree ornaments will surely become a new favorite to look forward to hanging year after year.
