This is the final week to view the extraordinary exhibit of Marilyn Frasca’s “Drawings.” This is such a thought provoking show that we suggest allowing yourself a bit more time to take it in than most. Frasca’s vast spectrum of work is widely varied, since each painting begins simply as a monotype print, created with different textiles, with no preconceived idea of the finished work. Marilyn then looks beyond the obvious patterns and textures left by the monotype, to find an image that “reveals” itself to her. The result is often very emotional. Our customers have felt joy, hope, sadness, wonder, mysticism, awareness and much more as they study each piece. We invite you to spend as much time as needed to interpret this amazing body of work exhibited through November 12th.

Our Holiday Exhibit, beginning November 17th, features raku ceramics from Dave & Boni Deal, carved feather shadowboxes by Chris Maynard and pastels from Judith Smith. We will also be hosting an Artist Talk Sunday December 3rd at 3pm with Chris and Judith, and hope that you can join us.
