Spring tree paperwieight from Cathy Richardson

Hopefully this coming Easter will be sunny and warm so all the little ones will be able to hunt for those colorful eggs.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to find one of these gorgeous hand blown egg paperweights in your basket? This lovely, flowering Spring tree is one of the four season options by glassblower, Cathy Richardson. What makes these paperweights so unique, is that Cathy recreates the exact tree each time one is blown, from the tips of the branches to the roots, changing only the leaf color or making an addition of snow on the winter piece. While each one is a work of art in itself, seeing the four together one can truly appreciate her attention to detail.  These would make a wonderful addition if you, or someone you know, is a collector of glass or paperweights.

We have an exciting lineup of talent for this Spring’s Arts Walk. Oil paintings from Cal Capener, Mixed media paintings from Kristen Etmund, wood paintings from Sara Gettys, ceramic sculptures by Babette Harvey, and oil paintings from Carla Paine and live music from PC & J.

Just a reminder that we will be closed on Easter to spend time with our families.
