"Snowy Sunday" watercolor by Bill McEnroe

“Snowy Sunday” watercolor by Bill McEnroe

After our recent cold snap, we just couldn’t resist posting this lovely winter scene watercolor  “Snowy Sunday” by Olympia’s beloved Bill McEnroe, who unfortunately passed away in January of 2015.

Always enthusiastic to share his imagination, he was often found teaching others, whether a beginning art student, or an already well established painter. Bill was that beam of sunshine on a winter day, that gave all who met him a feeling of warmth. Bill’s memory lives on in his artwork and our memories. We are fortunate to still have a handful of Mr. McEnroe’s original work available at the gallery. Please contact us if you are interested in seeing more images.

If you are eager to get out of the house after being cooped up by Mother Nature, join Pat Cole and his group PC & J at Traditions this Saturday night, Jan. 21st at 7:30. Pat will once again entertain us for Arts Walk in April – we look forward to seeing you!
