Our holiday exhibit of “Old Friends / New Work” runs through Dec. 31st.

We couldn’t think of a more appropriate way to ring in our 45th year and the holiday season, than by bringing back many of the wonderful artists and long time friends that have made Olympia a bit more colorful through the years for this exhibit. Childhood’s End has been honored and delighted to introduce and share the talent, skill, imagination and dreams of these amazing artists for over four decades, with our equally wonderful and devoted customers.

Susan Christian, Dave & Boni Deal, Marilyn Frasca, John & Robin Gumaelius, John Hannukaine, Jonathan Happ, Chris Maynard, Mary McCann, Barb Noonan, Judith Smith, Don Sprague Lisa Sweet, & Don Tiller have all returned to celebrate with us. This fantastic and varied group has come together to bring us their pottery, etchings, pastels, encaustics, raku, gouache, acrylics, pastel on monotype, sculpture and feather cutting. This is definitely a not to miss show, and with the Holidays right around the corner, it’s the perfect reason for a trip into town.

Be sure to read the article on Chris Maynard and his beautiful, hand cut feather shadowboxes in today’s Olympian. You can find more information about the techniques used by our ceramic artists, printmakers and painters from our exhibit page.
