Yoshiko Yamamoto featured on Craft in America

We love to sing the praises of our resident artists, and realize how fortunate it is to have them in our community. More and more, these talented people are getting recognized nationally for their outstanding work.

Block prints by Yoshiko Yamamoto have been wildly popular at the gallery the last few years, and we have been happy to feature her work in several exhibitions. Don’t miss Yoshiko in action on next week’s “Craft In America,”  scheduled for December 16th* on PBS.  Watch as she takes us through her process step by step  – from sketch to carving to print, as she creates one of her beautiful images, and find out why her work resonates with so many of us.

If you miss the show, you can view several of her prints on our website, or even better, stop in to take a closer look. We have several prints in handmade, craftsman style frames (works of art themselves,) as well as unframed work, calendars and cards. Be sure to check out the current exhibit and vote for your favorite “Twinklefest” window display!
