Few things in life are more rewarding than stepping into your back yard and picking fresh, ripe fuit you grew yourself.

We thought these beautiful, perfectly plump figs from one of our resident artists looked so pretty, we couldn’t resist taking a photograph! We placed them in this lovely, sculptural dish from Oregon potter, Rabun Thompson to show them off. A simple and elegant way to serve fresh figs is with a dollop of honeyed Greek yogurt, and a drizzle of sweet, balsamic sauce over the top – great on those delicious, tree ripened nectarines and peaches available now at the Olympia Farmers Market too. Make a nutritious breakfast, impressive dessert or an extra special snack you can feel good about enjoying! Reward yourself for doing all of that work in your garden or supporting our local farmers by putting it into a pretty dish.
