Girl's Night Out in Downtown Olympia
It’s Back! Downtown Olympia’s femme fatale frolic “Girls Night Out” – this Friday May 15th. If you’ve never been, this event is a lot of fun for everybody.
If you’re not familiar with the shindig, here’s a rundown. First of all, you need to pre-purchase a “goodie bag” for $12 ($15 on the 15th) at either The Olympia Downtown Association, Lily’s What To Wear, Vivala or Courtyard Antique Mall. Your bag comes with a coupon book full of amazing deals and giveaways from dozens of downtown businesses, a guide to the free entertainment and refreshments offered by participating merchants, plus little bonuses that have in past years included jewelry, soaps, cards, cosmetic bags and every girls favorite…..chocolate! For every $10 that a Girl’s Night Out gal spends at a participating store or restaurant, they receive a raffle ticket for a drawing held at the reception at the Performing Arts Center and let me tell you ladies, there are some awesome prizes and baskets to be won. Did we mention parking is FREE with your pass?
As if this wasn’t already great enough, you can feel guilt free about having fun because the proceeds from your goodie bag purchase always go to local charities. This years choice is “SideWalk,” an evidence supported organization who’s mission is to house Olympia’s homeless community and assist in case management to assure stability and success.
