There is a peaceful, haunting beauty in the photo collage prints by Olympia artist Doyle Fanning. “All That Is Lost” is a series that came about as the artist reflected on images found in a book published at the turn of the last century and her own photographs taken at the turn of this century.  Fanning hopes that people will be drawn to the images and find in them stories that are both universal and personal. Doyle Fanning’s work has been chosen as the cover art for this Fall’s Arts Walk poster and we are pleased to be hosting her again in October for this great Olympia event.

As you stand before the oversized photographs in the canyon land series from Olympia’s Rix Smith, you may feel as though have stepped into a sacred place no one else has been. On his grand scale, you definitely can see why Rix has been a well respected photographer since before digital photo perfecting was an option. Whether or not you have ever visited the Southwest, you will be mesmerized by Smith’s captivating, beautiful images.

A big Thank You to all of our wonderful customers and artists who voted us “Best Art Gallery” in the Best of the South Sound contest. We think YOU are the best!
