What better way to celebrate this great country’s birthday than by supporting American artists and craft people. Be proud and boast your independence from imported, plastic party supplies and serve your potluck recipe from a beautiful, handmade bowl or platter. Everybody will want to try the dish you brought (even if you just popped into the deli for cheese and fresh fruit), because everything looks a cut above when served from hand thrown pottery, art glass or a hand turned, wooden bowl!
So, pick up your favorite, locally farmed ingredients and whip up an impressive dish for your star-spangled festivities. Just a reminder, Childhood’s End will be closed on July 4th so that we may celebrate the holiday with our friends and families.
