Back in the gallery,  is a artist you may remember from the Women Painters of Washington exhibit we hosted last March. Throughout the show, we asked our customers and artists to vote for their favorite piece, and Randena Walsh’s pastel, “Conversation” tied for first place out of 66 pieces! Naturally, we were excited to feature her last June and again this month.

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Randena has always been fascinated with the natural world, and we see that influence in this latest exhibit. Beautifully detailed and full of life, a Western Tanager, Red Breasted Sapsucker,  crossbill and landscapes are among the pastels that will appeal to the naturalist and art lover alike.
